Privacy & Data Rights
Your rights under GDPR and how we handle your data.
Prosigna Limited ("we", "us") processes personal data obtained from publicly available sources including Companies House, the Land Registry, the Gazette, and other statutory registers.
PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS
We process this data for the legitimate interest of providing wealth event intelligence services to regulated UK wealth management firms (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our processing is limited to:
- Aggregating publicly available information about corporate events (directorships, property transactions, share dealings, gazette notices)
- Generating prospect cards summarising those public signals
- Providing full identity information only to regulated firms upon purchase, subject to exclusivity controls
DATA CATEGORIES
We process: full name, company associations, directorship history, property transaction records (from public Land Registry data), share dealings (from public RNS announcements), and other publicly filed documents.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you (Article 15), request correction of inaccurate data (Article 16), request erasure of your data (Article 17), and request restriction of processing (Article 18). To exercise any of these rights, please email privacy@prosigna.io. We will respond within 30 days.
You also retain the right to object to processing under Article 21 of the UK GDPR.
OPT-OUT
You may permanently opt out of Prosigna processing at any time. Upon opt-out:
1. You are added to our permanent suppression list
2. All existing prospect cards referencing you are immediately suppressed
3. Any adviser who has purchased your card is notified of the suppression
4. No future cards will be generated for you
RETENTION
**Data Retention**
We retain prospect data indefinitely where justified by legitimate business interest in B2B prospecting, subject to your right to object at any time under Article 21 of the UK GDPR.
Prospect records that have received no new signals for 12 months are archived from active inventory and are no longer made available to our customers. We periodically review our data holdings and remove records that are no longer commercially relevant.
You may object to processing, request suppression, or request full erasure of your data at any time by emailing privacy@prosigna.io. We will respond within 30 days.
Purchased card data is retained for the exclusivity period plus any regulatory retention requirements. Suppression list entries are retained permanently to ensure ongoing compliance.
